Business

ICCSL, the Sri Lanka national committee of the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), moved into a new office this week at the Suncity building in Colombo 3.

Trade and Commerce Minister Bandula Gunawardana, who graced the occasion of the opening of the new office, highlighted the need for the private sector chambers to work closely with the government to address the many challenges the economy is currently facing due to the pandemic, according to a media release issued by the chamber.

ICC is represented in over 130 countries and has over 45 million members globally. ICCSL is also the only authorised authority for the issuance of ATA carnet in Sri Lanka - the international customs document that permits the tax-free and duty-free temporary export and import of nonperishable goods for up to one year. ICCSL has been in Sri Lanka for over 60 years.
