State-owned Paranthan Chemicals Company Ltd is helping in combating the COVID-19 virus in Sri Lanka and thereby saving the lives, with the launch of “Paranthan Real Bleach” recently.
This has enabled the reach of much needed Sodium Hypochlorite solution to the households and offices, for disinfecting surfaces to fight against viruses of COVID-19, the company said in a media release.
Sodium Hypochlorite displays broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and is effective against several common pathogens. The World Health Organisation has highlighted the effectiveness of Sodium Hyphoclorite in the context of COVID -19 recently for disinfecting of environmental surfaces.
Paranthan Real Bleach which contains Sodium Hypochlorite solution is available at Laugfs and Sathosa supermarkets islandwide.
In addition to the disinfecting effects of Paranthan Real Bleach, this is also useful for cleaning of floors,staircases, washrooms. Paranthan Real Bleach is also useful particulalrly for students and professionals for removing stain in their white clothes and making them bright.
