National insurer Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Three Sinha Industries (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s premier roller door maker, to provide an exclusive insurance cover for the Roller Doors.
Under this special insurance scheme, Sri Lanka Insurance provides insurance services for Roller Doors, Shutters and Gates under the fire insurance class covering fire and lightning, impact damages and electrical damages, cyclone, storm, tempest and flood, SLI said in a media release.
The MOU exchange took place between the two parties with the participation of Priyantha Perera, Chief Officer General Insurance of SLIC, Manjula Ariyakumara Managing Director of Three Sinha Industries and members of corporate management of two entities.
Founded in 1968, Three Sinha Industries is a household name in Sri Lanka that has ventured into diverse areas in the construction industry such as Steel Building and Roofing, Roller Doors and Roller Shutters, Steel and Aluminum Fabrications, Stainless Steel Railings, etc.
Established in 1962, SLI celebrates 60 years of excellence as the largest government-owned insurance company in Sri Lanka, with a managed asset base of over Rs.268 billion and a Life fund of Rs. 152 billion, the largest in the local insurance industry.
