As a part of Sri Lanka Tourism’s continuous International Promotions to ‘Keep the Sri Lankan Holiday Dream Alive’’, Destination Sri Lanka will be featured in one of the Top ‘Culinary Travel’’ YouTube Channels in the world - ‘’Chopstick Travel’’.

“With the mission to popularise the Safe and Secure Bio Travel Bubble Process and rich tourism product diversity available to offer, Sri Lanka Tourism (SLTPB) welcomed popular Food Travel YouTube channel “Chopstick Travel” (Link: https://www.youtube.com/user/ToastWithJim)  last year .  Destination Sri Lanka will be featured in Chopstick Travel’s latest travel episodes which will be premiered on Sunday June 13,” the state tourism agency said in a media release.

With 1.5 million active subscribers base (over 224,060,010 views), Chopstick Travel is considered as one of the Top Culinary Travel Vlogs on YouTube.

Despite global travel concerns over COVID 19 pandemic, Chopstick Travel successfully completed their 20-day under Sri Lanka Tourism’s Visiting Blogger Program (VBP) by experiencing 14 days Bio Travel Bubble and many other culinary focused local experiences.  The Channel has created five unique Sri Lankan Travel Episodes in order to provide in-depth awareness about the latest travel guidelines set up by the Sri Lanka Government to encourage tourists to visit Sri Lanka by assuring their safety and security.

In their promotional video, travel duo behind Chopstick Travel ‘’Luke Martin and Sabrina Davidson’’ has stated “We just got back from the most incredible trip to Sri Lanka.  This series we will be sharing Sri Lanka’s New Safe and Secure Tourism Programme that allows travelers to come to the country and experience the culture, the cuisines, the beauty all within a non-restrictive 14 days’ quarantine.  And also we will be sharing with you our travel across the country”.
