The Indian Army chief Mukund Naravane will arrive on a five-day official visit to Sri Lanka on Tuesday (12).
He will be arriving on an invitation of the Sri Lankan Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.
He is to pay a courtesy call on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Hours after he arrives he is due to pay floral tributes to the IPKF monument at Sri Jayawrdenepura, Kotte.
The visiting Indian Army chief will be accompanied by his wife Veena Narvane.
