Sri Lanka’s first Test Cricket Captain Bandula Warnapura passed away at a private hospital today (18) morning. He was 68 years.
He was taken ill few weeks back and until then he was actively involved in Cricket Administration. Recently he was involved in providing expert comments during the South African – Sri Lankan matches.
He was the first captain of Sri Lanka's Cricket team after being recognised as a fully fledged Test-playing country.
