Vaccinating Advanced Level class students (18 to19-year-old group) will commence on October 21, Army Commander and Head of National Operations Centre for the Prevention of the Spread of COVID-19 General Shavendra Silva said.
He said President Rajapaksa has instructed at the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 meeting held today (8) to administer the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine for 18 and 19 year old school students.
Vaccinating will take place in schools and those who have just left school can obtain the vaccine at the nearest Medical Officer of Health (MOH) office.
