Electricity to several areas across the country has been disrupted due to a breakdown in the transmission line from Kotmale to Biyagama.
As a result, several areas including Kurunegala, Ratmalana, Galle, Matara, Panninpitiya, Sapugaskanda, Kotugoda, Biyagama, Athurugiriya, Sri Jayawardenapura and Habarana are among the areas affected. CEB officials said that measures are being taken to restore the supplies.
