Cricket: IFS to partner with SLC during England T20I Series

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that IFS, a global cloud enterprise software company, as the National T20 team's 'Back of Jersey Branding' partner for the Twenty20 International series against England.

Under the agreement, IFS will partner with SLC with effect from June 8 to 27, 2021, during which time the Sri Lanka National T20 team will play three T20i matches against England.

The three T20i matches will be played on June 23, 24 and 26.
 
The first two games will be played at the Sophia Gardens and Cardiff, and the final match at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

The T20i series is a part of Sri Lanka's white-ball tour to England, which will also see both teams playing a three-match ODI series.

Ashley de Silva, the CEO of SLC commenting on the partnership said, "We are happy to see IFS coming on board to partner Sri Lanka Cricket, and this partnership, which is in a format where speed and agility plays a critical role in winning, will provide greater visibility for the enterprise solutions provider."

IFS is making its entry at a time when Sri Lanka, the former ICC Men's T20 World Cup winner, is gearing up to compete in the T20i World Cup, scheduled to take place later this year.

Commenting on the love and passion for the game by staff, partners, and customers in Sri Lanka and some of IFS's key markets, Ranil Rajapakse, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of IFS Sri Lanka operations said, "We are happy to partner with Sri Lanka Cricket, and take pride in being a sponsor of the Sri Lanka National T20 team.
