Ind in SL: India to arrive on June 28 for white-ball series

The 25-man Indian squad will arrive Sri Lanka on June 28 to engage in a white-ball series in which three One Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals are set to take place.
 
India's previous visit was in March 2018, when they took part in the Nidahas Trophy Tri-Nation contest.
 
"I am confident this series is going to attract the attention of the cricketing world, as both teams, which have excelled in the shorter formats of the game, plays an exciting brand of cricket, thus bringing joy to the fans," said Ashley de Silva, the CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket.
 
The tour will be vital in Sri Lanka's ongoing preparations aiming at the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup and also the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place later this year.
 
The tour will be held under a Bio-Secure Environment.
 
All matches will be played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
 
The Indian team will depart Sri Lanka on July 26.
