The second T20 International between Sri Lanka and India, originally scheduled to be played on July 27 at the R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo, has been pushed forward by a day.
The match now take place on Wednesday, July 28.
"Following the Rapid Antigen tests conducted ahead of the match on Tuesday (26) morning, Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya was found to be positive for Covid-19. The Medical teams have identified eight members as close contacts," issuing an official statement, Sri Lanka Cricket confirmed.
"The entire contingent is undergoing PCR tests today (27) to ascertain any further outbreak in the squad."
The remaining matches two T20 International of the three-match series will be played on July 28 and 29 accordingly, at the R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo.
