Sri Lanka Cricket named a squad of 17 players, under the captaincy of Dunith Wellalage, for the upcoming Under-19 Asia Cup, which will be held from December 23 to 31 in the United Arab Emirates.
Sri Lanka has been slotted in Group 'B' alongside Bangladesh, Nepal and Kuwait while the Group 'A' includes Afghanistan, India, Pakistan and hosts UAE.
Sri Lanka will take on Kuwait on December 24 in their opening game of the tournament.
Their second group match will be against Nepal on December 26, followed by the final group game against Bangladesh on December 28.
Sri Lanka will play all their group stage games in Sharjah.
The top two sides will play in the semi-finals on December 30 and the winners will meet in the final on December 31 in Dubai.
