The Sri Lanka Under-19 team will tour the United Kingdom during August and September to take part in two Youth Test matches and three Youth ODI games.
Upon arriving in in the UK, the young Sri Lankans will play a three-day warm up game against the Young Lions International XI at the ECB Performance Centre in Loughborough from August 16 to 18.
The first Youth Test between Sri Lanka and England Under-19s will be played from August 21 to 24 at Chelmsford in Essex, followed by the second Test from August 28 to 31 at Derby in Derbyshire.
The three Youth ODIs will be played on September 5, 8 and 10 at Worcester and Leicester.
The Sri Lanka Youth team is expected to land in the UK on August 14 for the month long tour.
“This tour will provide our youngsters an opportunity to experience English conditions, and prepare themselves for bigger international challenges going forward,” said Jehan Mubarak, the Head Coach of Sri Lanka Under-19s.
The tour will also be the final Under-19 tour for most of the youngsters, as they will very soon graduate to the Emerging category.
